The A-T Project is a non-profit foundation that supports basic scientific research into treatments for neurological deterioration and cancer in children with ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T). These findings will not only help unlock the mysteries of cancer, but other life-threatening illnesses associated with premature aging. Discoveries may also benefit carriers of the A-T gene who are at significantly higher risk of developing breast cancer. These findings may in turn be appropriate for use in clinical trials in collaboration with the National Organization to Treat A-T.
