Founded in 1992...

The A-T Project is a non-profit foundation that supports basic scientific research into treatments for neurological deterioration and cancer in children with ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T). These findings will not only help unlock the mysteries of cancer, but other life-threatening illnesses associated with premature aging. Discoveries may also benefit carriers of the A-T gene who are at significantly higher risk of developing breast cancer. These findings may in turn be appropriate for use in clinical trials in collaboration with the National Organization to Treat A-T. 

The A~T Project has been supported by donations from

• 362 individuals in 27 states, Washington, D.C., Virgin Islands, and Australia
• nine corporations and five foundations
• two grants from the A-T Medical Research Foundation in Los Angeles

There are many ways to help The A~T Project and those with ataxia-telangiectasia. Funds raised by The A~T Project go specifically to support research to prevent A-T and to raise awareness toward the A-T disorder. We are appreciative and thankful for all contributions.
